Scan Hub has scanned and modeled hundreds of factories used for steel fabrication, food processing, materials handling, and many other uses, either full of machines or empty, for many clients Australia-wide.

The Challenge

Large factories full of machine lines and complexity require experience to capture in 3D. Scan Hub has over 10 years of this experience, and we're armed with the best laser scanning technology. Placement and registration of upwards of 200 scans in a 35,000 m2 factory requires skill.

Our Solution

Nothing beats years of experience. You can have the best high-tech gear, but using it accurately and effectively is a skill born of this experience. Our scan-to-BIM team also uses state-of-the-art CAD software designed to work with scan mesh or point cloud files to create accurate digital twins. We can draft DXF profiles for regulator approval or 3D models for design consideration.

Project Outcome

Our clients can cost-effectively plan, re-design, and maintain these facilities with far less project risk.
